We ate here for a Thanksgiving Family Buffet at 11 a.m. Loved the lobby! The front desk agent greeted us with a warm welcome. Clean and ample seating for guests. There seemed to be some confusion at the front desk prior to checking in with our reservation, but there were a few different parties waiting as well, so it wasn't bad. We were seated in the conference/meeting room, but the tables were kind of jammed together and not an easy walkway to the door to the food tables, etc. The food was really good, and lots of variety with the hot items, and salad/bar appetizer room. Didn't really care for the sweet potatoes, as they were slightly undercooked, but the prime rib and turkey were great. I also liked the mashed potatoes. The breakfast line was also open and the bacon and cheese omelette was really good. I also liked the pita bread with the spinach and artichoke dip and the shrimp. Very tasty! Dessert was also very good! Service was prompt and thorough, despite how busy they were for the holiday rush.

Ate here several times during my stay at the hotel. Each meal ranged from subpar to utter disaster. Salads served without dressing, eggs tasted like they were made days ago and reheated, and then there was the hamburger that was served to me cold and raw in the middle (not rare, RAW). There are much better restaurants right across the bridge, most are more reasonably priced as well. Needless to say I will be eating out for the rest of my business trip.

I know it's in a hotel, so you automatically pay the "hotel surcharge," but it was pricey for breakfast. The hash browns were the highlight of our breakfast. Bacon was fatty and limp. We ordered poached eggs. They came out in a mini-skillet swimming in nasty egg water. Between the two of us, we had four eggs. None of the eggs were cooked the same. They were all pretty much overdone. One of my girlfriend's eggs looked hard-boiled from the outside - the yolk was totally solid. Disappointing that they even plated it...and served it. Don't mind paying a premium if it's decent food. Thought what we got here was below average. I'll be avoiding it if I stay at the Holiday Inn again.

2pm Sat. Food was slow. Southwest salad entrees came with no dressing, and we had to hunt down a server, who were scarce, to get some. Bread requested with salad never came, but when we were about done "toast" showed up. Not impressed with the service at all. Room is nice.

Incredibly slow service. Mediocre food. We waited a very long time at every stage - having our orders taken, getting the food, getting the check, having our credit cards picked up, having the cards run. She then only brought two cards back while we waited again for the rest. It was almost impressive how slow it was. Admittedly, we had a large group, but there isn't any excuse for this.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Friday night and spent the evening in GR. We went on the prowl for a good dessert and found it right at our hotel at Pearl Street Grill! Best ever carrot cake and delicious breakfast. We had to wait a bit for our breakfast as there was a wedding party there but we weren't in a hurry so it didn't matter to us as the food was well worth the wait. I had an omelet and my husband pancakes. Very good chef's at the Pearl Street Grill!
